I just attended a wedding on the island of Nantucket. This small island 30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod is a gem and worth a visit. Once the whaling capital of the world, Nantucket is now a tourist destination and summer colony. The whole island is one big beautiful garden surrounded by beautiful beaches. Hydrangeas of every variety grow in almost every yard. Many of the homes have charming gates, beautiful flower-filled window boxes and climbing roses that cover walls, trellises and roofs.
