We’re in the thick of citrus season in the Napa Valley! My Meyer Lemons are really strong this year, unlike last year. I like to leave these on my trees (which are in pots) all summer and fall long, so I can pick them as I need them. Our Owari Satsumas are prolific this year too, as they always are in January. Have we ever had a bad year with our satsumas? Sometimes I dream of putting a satsuma or lemon tree into the ground, because they are so beautiful when they are full of fruit, but then how much fruit will we have? We already have a challenge consuming and sharing what we have in our pots!
