We’ve enjoyed our first visit to Sea Island, Georgia with fun friends and what a gorgeous place it is (with an assemblage of fantastic golf courses throughout the area, by the way)! During a “non-golf” day, we perused the adorable shops in the area and discovered Viola’s Market – a terrific local garden shop.
I could tell the moment I entered the store that I was in a live garden shop because I could smell that wonderful combination of wood, earth and all things green that only exists in garden-related stores. I love that smell!
Every time I wander into one of these stores, I am immediately interested in and distracted by the unique objects that shop owners have collected to sell in their stores and the way they creatively display them. Just check out this wonderful butler’s pantry with a variety of baskets, vases and containers.
Purchase today? I couldn’t resist the herb cutters which came with an adorable packet of chive seeds and an irresistible new book, “The Bee Friendly Garden” by Kate Frey and Gretchen LeBuhn. I can’t wait to dive into my new book and try out these new sheers!
